As a fellow engineering student, these tablets provide the best results for all my works in college. I am a Microsoft and Windows fan, so the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is my top choice. I personally used the Surface Pro 2 before SP3 even launched and love each and every aspect it provides.

When needed, take out the screen and use it as a tablet. The screen is 10.1 inch, full HD ready so it's not clumsy.
