Best Tablets for Engineering Students - 2014
Thursday, December 4, 2014
As a fellow engineering student, these tablets provide the best results for all my works in college. I am a Microsoft and Windows fan, so the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is my top choice. I personally used the Surface Pro 2 before SP3 even launched and love each and every aspect it provides.
Another very good deal they are providing on is the Asus Transformer Book model T100TA. The best thing about it is that it's a 2-in-1 laptop plus tablet. When needed, take out the screen and use it as a tablet. The screen is 10.1 inch, full HD ready so it's not clumsy. When serious typing or mouse work is required, simply place it on the keyboard dock and it's ready! (Less than $400!)

Gifts for Engineers - 2014 Christmas Update
Monday, November 10, 2014
It's been a while since I posted any updates. Finally I'm here with the latest 2014 gift guide for the coolest people - the engineers!
As always, T-shirts remain the hottest gift of the season. No matter where you go and whom you are buying a gift for, T-shirt won't let you down. There are numerous designs available for engineering shirts. One I stumbled upon (and I think it's really creative) is one for computer or electrical engineering backgrounds and someone who loves music.
It is also somewhat related to mechanical and mechatronics engineering.

Another topper in engineer gifts is this geeky coffee mug. Actually, it is extremely nerdy.
Finally, here is an evergreen engineer motto T-shirt. Believe me, it actually is the principle of engineers and engineering students.

Toshiba has come up with its latest range of laptops that are meant to be for entertainment purpose (movies, music etc.). However, the specifications of these laptops seems to be highly appropriate for an engineering laptop.
There are 2 best laptops from the series. 1 of them is 15.6 inches and the other is 17.3 inches.
The new model is the Toshiba Satellite S55-B5258 15.6-Inch Laptop

Dr. Sheldon Cooper's Clock Explained (...and for sale!)
Monday, June 9, 2014
If you are a "The Big Bang Theory" fan, then you may know the power of Dr. Sheldon Cooper (and his intelligence). He is such a smart geek that his clock is all things mathematics. And not just simple mathematics, it's truly scientifically "mathematic".
Let me explain:
In this adjoining clock, 1 is represented by Sin 90, 2 is by sqrt (4) and so on.
Sin 90 = 1
sqrt(4) = 2
round(pi) = 3
and so on.
3! is called 3 factorial which is 3 x 2 x 1 = 6 (haha!)
